El Cuartelejo Pueblo
The ancient ruins of El Cuartelejo Pueblo, located in Historic Lake Scott State Park, are the northernmost pueblo ruins ever found in the U.S., and the only pueblo ruins in Kansas.
This model shows a seven room structure made of adobe. At the time of its discovery in 1898, nothing remained above ground to indicate if it was multi-storied.
