Discover the Library of Congress

We are excited to welcome the Library of Congress for a full day of FREE public workshops. That’s right! The Library of Congress is coming to Scott City, Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Workshops will be held each hour beginning at 10:30 AM with the last session beginning at 6:30 PM. These hands-on workshops will include how the Library of Congress is already working in Kansas through Talking Books, how to access digital collections for researching historical newspapers, genealogy resources, the Veteran’s History Project, transportation, crowd sourcing, and much more.
